Your Distinctly Kelowna Tours’ Team

We’re proud to introduce our team to you… we’re here to help you create memorable experiences. When you leave your tour with a big smile, we did our job well (and when even locals tell us our tour guides shared cool information about our area and wineries they didn’t even know about, we can’t help but smile too!)

Debbie Dupasquier

Owner Debbie Dupasquier has resided in the Okanagan Valley for 15 years and has extensive knowledge of the area and the numerous points of interest for tourists. She successfully completed a Canadian Eco Tourism course and has developed numerous tours enjoyed by many. In December, 2015 Debbie was elected to serve as a Director on the Tourism Kelowna Board of Directors for the 2016 and 2017 term.

Prior to pursuing her passion with the tourism industry, Debbie had a career as a social worker in Winnipeg, MB and was most recently the Public Educator for West Kelowna Fire Rescue.

Debbie and her husband have a passion for the outdoors and can be seen with their two dogs exploring the Valley’s hiking trails. She can also be seen snowshoeing, paddle boarding and kayaking. Debbie loves to travel and explore new areas, often bringing home new ideas for Distinctly Kelowna Tours.

Amber O’Sullivan

Amber has enjoyed living in the Kelowna area for over 16 years and truly loves all that the region has to offer. She joined Distinctly Kelowna Tours in 2011 and with 15 years of experience in travel and tourism, Amber is proud to work with one of the leading tour companies in the Okanagan. She can often be found camping, kayaking and spending time with her husband and 2 dogs.

Berne Watters

Berne has been a tour guide with Distinctly Kelowna Tours for six seasons. His passion is sun, wine and enjoying touring with wonderful clients. We have fun touring the sun drenched Okanogan Valley with our wine tours. During the winter months when he is not wine tour guiding you can find him at Big White Ski Resort where he is a ski instructor. Come and join him for a cruise and taste or one of our other fine wine tours.

Jerry Rawson

Jerry moved from Idaho to Kamloops, and from there to university at UBC. He taught school in the Kelowna area for 42 years and was a paid on call fire fighter for 12 years. When he “retired,” he was teaching senior English and Firefighting, for which he developed the curriculum as a joint project with Mount Boucherie Secondary School and West Kelowna Fire Rescue. Jerry has worked three seasons doing wine tours. He thoroughly enjoys the work because there is so much to learn and pass on to people from all over the world. He is married, has three children, and six grandchildren.

Bryce Manske

Bryce joined Distinctly Kelowna Tours in the spring of 2016. He has a background of many years in sales and marketing. Bryce has lived in every province from here to Ontario, but has settled in the most beautiful of all. Bryce enjoys travelling, golfing, his work and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Bryce’s favorite part of living in the Okanagan is the spectacular view and scenery from so many vantage points.

Mark Fairs

Mark has been working with Distinctly Kelowna Tours for about 2 years. It’s a fun group of knowledgeable people to work with. Mark worked for 35 years driving the highway at night so he most often does shuttles at night. He always transports a fun group of people who love their hassle-free door to door service.

Terry Hill

Terry believes in providing value added service whenever possible, while conducting Tours. The safety and comfort of his guests along with a memorable tour experience are his priority. He refers to his tour work as a lifestyle choice more than just a job, because the Okanagan Valley is a treasure worthy of living fully and sharing. Never hesitate to ask Terry for a great photo of you during your wine tour adventure, taking advantage of the amazing views, as he is an avid photographer. Most recently, he made the cover of a local Municipal publication.

Terry has over a decade of Hospitality/Hotel experience serving the needs of guests from around the world. He is currently involved with Social Service and Life Coaching. Terry also provides healing Massage relieving stress, tension, and pain, using a set of traditional massage modalities that range in intensity from relaxation, to deep tissue, to even emotional release.

Terry has the belief; that as with wine, we become better people with age.

Bruce Asselin

Bruce and his spouse moved to the beautiful Okanagan Valley in 2013 and is now semi-retired. He enjoys the longer summer season for golfing, gardening, and long walks.
